Father Bill’s & MainSpring
Father Bill’s & MainSpring is an organization that has been dedicated to ending homelessness for over 30 years. Their new building in Quincy will support that mission on two fronts: by providing shelter and critical services to individuals currently experiencing homelessness, as well as transitional housing for formerly homeless people.
The Housing Resource Center contains a complex program of residential, medical, administrative and other program uses. In addition to providing temporary shelter and permanent studio apartments, the building will house a licensed medical clinic, a commercial kitchen and large dining room to accommodate a meals program, staff offices and interview rooms, a library and classroom space, and a guest reception area. The site design includes spaces for outdoor dining and gathering, garden beds, native plantings and natural drainage landscapes, a public pedestrian path, and parking for residents, staff, and guests.
