The recently completed gut renovation of 95-97 Pine Street, is a 12 unit, 2 phase project in Cambridge. The design is noteworthy for its high level of sustainability, which reflects the Owner's commitment to green design and their tenant's well being. The building employs photovoltaic panels, a solar hot water system, a new thermal envelope with an integral drainage plane that renders a remarkable 2.02 air changes per hour (a very tight building, particularly for a renovation), an on site storm water management system and water saving features. The project, coordinated with the Cambridge Historical Commission, has been certified LEED for Homes Platinum. A new entry ramp porch off the landscaped side yard serves a newly accessible ground floor unit.
