Coppersmith: Exterior Photography

We’re finally sharing exterior photos of Coppersmith Village! These are from a shoot with Peter Vanderwarker Photography. This project is so large and complex that we haven’t gotten a chance to capture half of what we’d like to yet, but for now we have a good representation of the project overall, including the midrise apartment building and the townhouses. At a minimum, we’ll have another shoot when the restaurant tenant is moved in!

Abby's House: Full Photo Shoot

Construction on Abby’s House is complete! We took our last round of photos with Greig Cranna, documenting the residential and exterior spaces. (See our previous post for images of the Women’s Center.)

Residential floors feature new shared kitchen spaces for residents with beautiful, new, high-efficiency appliances; warm, colorful seating; sleek pendant lights; and plenty of secure storage for tenants - as well as renovated laundry, common bathrooms, and common living spaces with beautiful natural light.

Our exterior shots feature the restored historic High Street facade, as well as the new, redesigned rear entry plaza with a new accessible ramp and vestibule, beautiful landscaping, and multiple seating areas with benches, tables, chairs and umbrellas.

Elizabeth Stone House: Topping Off Ceremony

Monday was the Topping Off Ceremony at Elizabeth Stone House! The project team attended the ceremony, with Bob substituting for Kitty, the principal in charge, who is away this week. We heard from speakers including Nancy Hess of Elizabeth Stone House and Mayor Marty Walsh, and signed the topping off beam!

Of course the top of steel in this building is actually quite far from being the top of the building. Our ground and first floors are built from steel and concrete, while the residential upper floors will be wood framed, making this ceremony fairly early in the construction process. You can see the full height of the building from the elevator tower in the background of this photo. An exciting milestone as we continue to move forward!

Coppersmith Village: Midrise Common Spaces

Peter Vanderwarker Photography got a few nice shots of the lobby and community room at Coppersmith Village on his visit.

The lobby features two large scale, custom art pieces by sculptural artist B. Amore who works with found objects and mixed media to explore memory and history through place.

The community room features a kitchenette and patio, with a flexible layout to accommodate a variety of functions for residents and NOAH staff.

Exterior shots for both Coppersmith and Abby's House still to come!
